The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has launched new Self-Paced Online Modules (SPOM) tailored for Final Course students. These modules aim to enrich the learning resources for students, enabling them to study crucial subjects at their convenience.
The ICAI has introduced the following modules under SET C and SET D:
Each module encompasses 20 hours of detailed content. Students can access these modules through the ICAI Digital Learning Campus portal (SPOM Portal) without any additional fees.
The SPOM platform is crafted to promote flexible learning, allowing students to study at their own pace from any location. An intuitive dashboard enables students to monitor their progress, including study hours and completion status.
Additional exemptions apply for students who cleared 6 or 7 papers at the Intermediate level, as outlined in the ICAI’s latest eligibility matrix.
Following the completion of the required learning hours, students must undertake a SPOM test, conducted by the Examination Department. Detailed information regarding the test schedule and procedures will be provided in a subsequent announcement.
The introduction of Self-Paced Online Modules represents a significant improvement in the educational experience for ICAI Final Course students, offering flexible and accessible learning options. Students are encouraged to complete the necessary prerequisites to utilize these resources effectively and prepare for the upcoming SPOM test.
