As of December 16, 2021, the cumulative Advance Tax collections for the Financial Year (FY) 2021-22 up to the third installment have reached Rs. 4,59,917.10 crore. This marks an impressive growth of approximately 53.50% compared to the previous fiscal year.

Overview of Net Direct Tax Collections

Net Direct Tax collections for FY 2021-22 have exhibited a strong growth rate, exceeding 60%. As of the stated date, the net collections stood at Rs. 9,45,276.6 crore, up from Rs. 5,87,702.9 crore during the same period of FY 2020-21, which represents an increase of 60.80%.
