The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, Government of India, has released Notification No. 20 of 2024, promoting various Joint Commissioners of Income Tax to the Selection Grade (NFSG), effective as of different eligibility dates in 2020, 2022, and 2024. These officers are now placed at Level 13 in the Pay Matrix, which corresponds to a pay scale of Rs. 37,400-67,000 with a grade pay of Rs. 8,700 (pre-revised).
