Radio Jingle Competition Results: No Winners Declared by CBDT
No Winners Selected in Income Tax Department–MyGov Radio Jingle Contest, But Creativity Applauded
The Income Tax Department, through its Directorate of Public Relations, Printing & Publications (CBDT), in collaboration with MyGov, has shared the outcome of the national Radio Jingle Competition held in June 2025.
Creative Participation, But No Selected Jingle
Running from June 1 to June 30, the competition invited original radio jingles aimed at raising awareness about income tax compliance. A total of 171 entries poured in from across the country, reflecting both creativity and public enthusiasm. However, after careful evaluation, the jury concluded that none of the submissions met the technical and thematic benchmarks required for official campaigns. As a result, no jingle has been selected for adoption.
Acknowledging Every Participant’s Effort
Despite this outcome, the Income Tax Department and MyGov extended heartfelt thanks to all who participated. "Every idea submitted is a reflection of civic spirit and creative commitment," the organisers noted, adding that such public involvement remains vital to the success of outreach programmes.
More Opportunities on the Horizon
Participants are encouraged not to be disheartened. New contests and creative collaborations are regularly announced on the MyGov platform. The Department reiterated its intent to engage with citizens through upcoming initiatives focused on tax literacy and digital governance.
